When I got to Hugo’s apartment block, he was just starting his one hour of Booster time. I set up my laptop and punched out another hour on the Booster clock.

After that, we packed up his laptop and mine, then headed off to Tyson and Pip’s house, where their dad doesn’t care what they do, and the four of us played until I had to run home for dinner at seven.

Now I know what you’re thinking: ‘Your parents are going to kill you.’

To that I have two responses and then I need to sleep.

First: Yes, probably. But only if they find out.

And second: I’m halfway up the leaderboard now!
